Terms of Service

By using Kickoff you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. What Kickoff is

Kickoff is software for running private predictions leagues for the FIFA World Cup 2026. We are a scoreboard. League admins set their own rules, collect their own entry fees off-platform, and distribute prizes themselves. Kickoff never holds, receives, or distributes any prize pool money. We are not a payment processor for entry fees and we are not party to any wager.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ (or the age of majority where you live). You’re responsible for complying with all local laws regarding contests, sweepstakes, and prize pools.

3. Pricing

Free for up to 10 paid players per league. Plus ($9.99) raises the cap to 20 paid players. Pro ($29.99) removes the cap. Tier upgrades are one-time, per-league, for this tournament. There is no recurring billing. If you’ve already paid for Plus and want to upgrade to Pro, you only pay the difference.

4. Off-platform payments

All entry fees and prize payouts happen between admins and players directly (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, cash, bank transfer, etc.). Kickoff is not involved in those transfers and is not liable for non-payment, partial payment, or disputes between league members. Resolve those within your group.

5. Refunds for tier upgrades

Tier upgrade purchases are non-refundable once your tournament has begun. If you change your mind before the tournament starts, email support and we’ll consider it case-by-case.

6. No warranties

Kickoff is provided "as is". We don’t warrant that scores will always be accurate, that emails will always be delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted. We use third-party services (Cloudflare, Stripe, Upstash, Resend) and aren’t liable for their failures.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. League admins may delete their own leagues at any time.
