Kickoff is a tool for running private predictions leagues for the World Cup. It’s the kind of thing your group already does in a group chat or a spreadsheet, just less painful.
What we do
We keep the scoreboard. You set the rules, we tally the points. You collect entry fees from your group however you normally do — Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, cash, whatever — and we keep a clean record of who’s paid, who’s leading, and who owes who at the end.
What we don’t do
We don’t hold money. We don’t run a sportsbook. We don’t take a cut of your pot. We don’t sell your data, run ads, or share anything about your league with anyone.
How we make money
If your league has more than 10 paid players, we charge the admin a one-time fee for that tournament — $9.99 for up to 20, $29.99 for unlimited. That’s it. No subscriptions. No cut of the prize pool. No surprise charges.
Why this works
Friend-group leagues already have someone trusted running the bookkeeping. We just give them better tools — a real scoreboard, deadline-locked picks, automatic prize math — instead of a chaotic spreadsheet.
